Despite the tough draw, Women’s National Team Head Coach Pavlides is confident his team will be able to reach its objective for this tournament “Our group is quite difficult, but I believe that if we win one of the two top spots of the group, we will have a great chance for the top 8, which is our main target for this World Championship” he mentioned after the draw.

Head Coach of the Men’s team, Giuseppe Porzio attended the official draw “The draw was definitely positive, we have a good chance to advance the next stage and from there on, it’s clear that the game will the harder. We must work hard in preparation for this tournament. Montenegro is undoubtedly the team to beat, we know Brazil, but Kazakhstan remains an unpredictable team. Overall, this tournament is a good opportunity, especially for our young players to grow and gain experience: for many of them, it will be their first appearance at a World Championship” he said.
