Water Polo Canada announces the 2025 NCL 18U Western Conference All-Star Teams

Calgary Renegades Black (W), Edmonton Tsunami (M), Fraser Valley Water Polo (M and W), Pacific Storm Water Polo Club (M), Surrey Water Polo (W) and Team Sask (M and W) will all be represented at the 2025 NCL 18U National Finals.

Ottawa, May 1, 2025 - Water Polo Canada announces the members of the National Championships League (NCL) 18U Western Conference All-Star Teams following the conclusion of the NCL 18U Western Conference Finals on Sunday, April 27th, in Edmonton, AB.

At the conclusion of the three-day competition, the following teams qualified for the NCL 18U National Finals to be held June 5-7 in Calgary, AB. On the men’s side, Edmonton Tsuanami, Fraser Valley Water Polo, Pacific Storm Water Polo Club and Team Sask teams all qualified, while on the women’s side, Calgary Renegades Black, Fraser Valley Water Polo, Surrey Water Polo, and Team Sask teams also secured their spot for the NCL 18U National Finals event after finishing top-4. Calgary Renegades Black and Team Sask respectfully won the women’s and men’s Western Conference Finals event in Edmonton.

These eight clubs will be joined by teams from Eastern Canada - CAMO (W), Capital Wave (M and W), DDO Black (M), Mavericks (M), Shadow (M and W) and South Central (W).

The 2025 NCL 18U Western Conference top scorers and All-Star Teams members are:

The All-Star Teams members were selected following a vote by the team coaches present at the 2025 NCL 18U Western Conference Finals.

The NCL 18U Western Conference regular season events started in November, with a total of 12 teams participating.

The NCL 18U Western Conference Finals are part of Water Polo Canada National Championship League (NCL), which was created in 2014 to bring the domestic club age group programs under a country wide umbrella that promotes the development of the sport.
