Capital Wave, Shadow, Calgary Renegades and Fraser Valley won the 16U titles
Ottawa, May 16, 2025 - Water Polo Canada announces the All-Star Team members for the National Championships League’s (NCL) 16U Western and Eastern National Championships following their conclusion on Sunday, May 4, respectively in Calgary, AB and Etobicoke, ON.
At the conclusion of both three-day competitions, Capital Wave (Eastern) and Calgary Renegades (Western) were crowned champions on the girls’ side, while Shadow (Eastern) and Fraser Valley (Western) won the boys tournaments.

The All-Star Teams members were selected through initial nominations made by the team coaches and then chosen by the technical delegate team present at the 2025 NCL 16U Western and Eastern National Championships.
The NCL 16U Western and Eastern National Championships are part of Water Polo Canada National Championship League (NCL), which was created in 2014 to bring the domestic club age group programs under a country wide umbrella that promotes the development of the sport. The NCL offers three categories of play: Senior, 18U, and 16U.
