Rae Lekness

Rae Lekness got introduced to water polo in 2004, at the age of 10, thinking she would like the sport since she knew family and friends who already played.

As a centre forward, has represented the Calgary Renegades Water Polo Club and San Jose State University.

She won a silver medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games and represented Canada at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships. In 2013, she took part in the FINA World Women's Junior Water Polo Championships and the World University Games.

At the national level, she won multiple Canadian National Championships and coached for multiple Canadian clubs.

Being part of a team is the aspect she loves most about water polo. Her goal is to go to the Olympic Games.

Rae Lekness has a degree in Kinesiology from the San Jose State University.
