Kathleen Dawson becomes President of Water Polo Canada

Water Polo Canada announces the election of Kathleen Dawson as Chair of its Board of Directors. The vote to elect the new President took place on July 8, 2021. 

A member of the Board of Directors for the past seven years as a Director, Kathleen Dawson succeeds Conrad Hadubiak. "It has been a pleasure to serve as a Director of the Board for the past seven years. I am very excited to have the opportunity to continue my work supporting the sport I love in my role as President. I look forward to leading and collaborating with the outstanding group of professionals who currently serve on the Board of Directors."

Kathleen is a former poloist with the Neptunes Club in Winnipeg where she has been the head coach since 2018. Kathleen holds a Master's degree in Medical Genetics and Microbiology from the University of Toronto and also works as an aquatic biologist with North/South Consultants in Winnipeg.

She will lead for the next two years a Board of Directors comprised of:
